The last two weeks have taken me by storm. Overwhelmed is an understatement but making order out of chaos seems to be a kind of pleasure. Don’t quote me on the pleasure thing as I might change my mind. For now it’s still all good. :)
As an update to our audience, there have been some challenges as to be expected in these types of things. Planning and development are different from execution and paperwork is still being processed. Despite all of that everything is moving relatively smoothly and on target.
Our biggest challenge is getting the word out that we still have openings for breast cancer survivors and patients to participate in painting and that’s where your support comes in.
If you don’t have art supplies or money to donate to The Art Cure’s efforts and you DO have Twitter, Facebook or a blog, please consider offering a few moments of your time to announce the following on your pages or placing this on any known calendar of events:
“The Art Cure invites breast cancer patients and survivors to paint for the cause! Painting days: Aug. 22 & 28 in Richmond Hill, GA. All proceeds go to charity. Space available!! Learn more: www.theartcure.blogspot.com. ”
You’re welcome to spice it up your own way so long as it’s announced we still have availability on our painting day schedule for more volunteers and refer them to the blog for more info - or The Art Cure Facebook/Twitter accounts.
